The structure and external spaces

Alma Domus is the first floor of one of the most interesting vaulted houses in Amalfi.

It is accessed from the historic pedestrian street Via Maestra dei Villaggi and the so-called Pomicara, which is accessed from the highway 163 via S. Quasimodo,  number 36. It is located 900 meters from the center of Amalfi, 500 meters from the beach of Duoglio.

It retains many period elements, characterized by refined simplicity and traditional construction techniques: vaulted ceilings, barrel and ogival vaults, architraves and original wooden doors; irregular stone walls and plasters made exclusively with traditional mortars, the result of the millenary experience of masonry art, composed with lime, lapillo and local red earth; the old lime and pumice beaten of the vaulted roof; the blue/green plastering of some rooms, in part original, result of overlaps occurred over the centuries, that in the western entrance, let imagine the sea in the only environment where it is not possible to admire it.​

Interiors and furnishings in minimal style made by the best local artisans.

Whit a stone Jacuzzi, air conditioning, Wi fi,  outdoor space in the garden to the west. terrace at the entrance to the east, two kitchenettes with induction hobs, fridge and mini-bar, coffee and cappuccino machine, ice machine.
